 The first episode of Gen V begins with young Marie Moreau playing with her sister while her parents watch the A-Train on the news. Marie has a sudden stomach ache and goes to the laundromat. Her mother follows to make sure she’s okay, but Marie locks the door. Not knowing what the time is, one is disgusted by the sight of blood. Moments later, he freaks out when he sees her bleeding and knocks over the furniture. His mother pushes the door down and sees blood gushing out. The blood is thrown at him and cuts the side of his neck, causing him to bleed and fall to the ground. As her father hears a noise, her father also rushes in. Marie screams at the sight of the blood, causing a massive bloodbath and killing her father as well. Her sister comes to find her parents sprawled on the floor covered in blood.


Meanwhile, Emma Meyer is in her living room, shrunken down and shooting a video for a YouTube channel. Just then, Marie enters the room and is surprised to see a small figure. Emma walks away in order to return to normal and returns a proper greeting to Mary. He quickly brings Mary in with her pet, YouTube channel and the rest of the room. Emma takes Mary to Godolkin Stadium to watch the top seeds compete. He shows Marie the golden boy and expresses his desire. Luke Riordan tells his girlfriend Kate Dunlap about the nightmare and they start making out on the track until Luke’s first opponent shows up. The fight begins, and Luke beats his opponent relentlessly. Marie expresses a desire to come down to the ring at one point, but is hesitant when Luke rips his opponent’s arm off his body.
